Director Rupert Wyatt remakes James Tobin’s 1974 film of the same name with Mark Wahlberg in the lead role of Literature professor and habitual gambler Jim Bennett that James Caan embodied in the original. The film also stars Jessica Lange, Brie Larson, Michael Kenneth Williams and John Goodman.
