Christine and the Queens at the Danforth

Touring in support of the excellent ‘Chris’ Christine & The Queens brought their genre bending and stunning live show to Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall. Playing to a sold out audience, the band, a four piece backing band, and singer Héloïse Letissier, performing under the nickname Chris, with six back up dancers backing her. The show played out like the gender queer, bilingual, musical of your dreams, with the compelling and impressive dancing weaving a strong story throughout the hour and forty minute set. Do not sleep on Christine & The Queens, or you will live to regret it.
