I’ve been a fan of Ciroc for a while now, so when I heard that they were officially coming to Canada, I was looking forward to how they would tackle this momentous occasion.
Cîroc is a vodka brand that distinguishes itself from other vodkas by the fact that it’s derived from grapes, rather than using corn, sorghum, rye, wheat, or potatoes like most vodkas on the market today. This makes for a smooth taste experience that even those with gluten or wheat sensitivities can enjoy along with all other vodka and premium cocktail lovers. Along with premium taste, Ciroc is also all about the premium experience, partnering with amazing brands and innovative people to create amazing events and parties. So when I was asked if I wanted to be one of the few Canadians to join the celebration to mark this occasion I of course said yes.
Arriving on a sunny Saturday my friend and I walked into Cabana Pool Bar (a Toronto summer staple) we saw it transformed into a Ciroc paradise. With balloons flying in the air, embossed pillows, bottles lined up in every direction and performace art and entertainment galore, I knew we were in for quite the party, and that it was.
We chatted that day with the minds behind Sullywong, George Sully and Henry Wong, about the brand partnership between the accessory line and Ciroc. They told us, “We love to create, and we love to work with great brands, so this was a perfect match.” That was made all the more evident by the pristine Ciroc/Sullywong white sneakers that the brands gifted to me! The well made, well crafted, sleek and beautiful shoes were the perfect addition to my collection. I can’t want to rock them at my next event, and am very much wondering how seriously people take the “no white after Labor Day” rule, because these shoes are too fabulous to pack away that soon.
The only question is, what’s next for Ciroc? I’ll be looking forward to answering that question for you over the coming months but until then check out the amazing photos from the party and until then, cheers!
