Bose, best known for its home entertainment speakers, noise-cancelling headphones, and automotive sound systems, is not only about great sound quality. This company prides itself on allowing you to listen to your favorite music the way it was meant to be heard: the Bose way.
All that being said, it comes as no surprise that Bose is now taking us “Behind the Sound” in a series of videos that provides listeners and fans a window into the making of some of our favorite music videos, but also into stories on how those bands came to be, where they got their start, and how they came to be so successful.
The latest video features The Hives.
The Hives are a Swedish rock band who first garnered attention in the early 2000s as a popular group of the garage rock revival scene. Their first big mainstream success came with the release of the album Veni Vidi Vicious, featuring their most well-known anthem “Hate to Say I Told You So”.
In the latest video for “Behind the Sound” Bose takes us back to when that video for “Hate to Say I told You So” was being made to talk with The Hives all about their humble beginnings growing up in Fagersta, how they got started and the making of the iconic video.
