Bahamas at the Danforth Music Hall

November 5, folk rock outfit Bahamas took the stage of The Danforth Music Hall. Frontman Afie Jurvanen provided his typical swagger, on this tour, backed by a full band of instruments to fill out his usual minimal folk sound. Even following the hypnotic, swirling instrumentals of Montreal based openers, The Barr Brothers, his sound, confidence and charisma seemed comparatively bombastic and captivating, drawing the audience in with a presence that was equally aggressive and intimate.
