On Monday you got to know Drew McTaggart from Dear Rouge, and as promised, today we bring you his other half Danielle McTaggart, our #womancrushwednesday of the week!

I’ve been a huge fan of Dear Rouge and Danielle specifically since I first heard “I heard I had” on the radio ages ago. Her stunning vocals mold and adapt to every song in their incredibly eclectic catalogue, her fashion sense is fierce as hell and she’s just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Seriously, these two are the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and it’s so wonderful to me that they’ve formed this incredible partnership through not only love, but a mutual love of music and creating. It’s got to be a great thing to not only get to do what you love, but to do it with the person you love the most, and that’s exactly what Danielle and Drew are doing. Take a read below for Danielle’s view on romance, dating and who she turns to when she needs advice!

What is your definition of romance?
Romance is intentional. Both people need to be in the moment and just let them selves go. Fear of appearing silly I think can stop those moments from happening. When sparks are flying let them fly!
Have you ever done something crazy to get a crush’s attention?
Yes! I drove 6 hours to meet up for a few hours on a first date. We were insane.
Describe the best date you’ve ever been on.
It was a whole day. We went for an amazing breakfast and then massage. After that we got a nice coffee and walked around the sea wall in Vancouver. Then I made dinner and we had cocktails. We laughed and enjoyed each other and it was just a perfect day.
Who do you go to for dating/marriage advice?
We have some amazing people in our lives so there’s no shortage of necessary advice. I would say I turn to my mom. She’s a remarkable woman.
Describe your love life in one word.
Exciting!
I adore these two! If you want to see more of Dear Rouge, be sure to catch them on their upcoming North American and European tour in suppor tof their album Black to Gold. Check out dates below and keep up with them on social media at @dearrouge (twitter/instagram) and Dear Rouge on Facebook.
