What is your ideal first date/ what’s the best date you’ve ever been on?

To be honest, it was a blind set-up through a mutual friend. I was in BC at the time and it was an afternoon date on my birthday. He took me to Science World! And, luckily, I happened to be wearing pants as we tried every crazy contraption in the place… it was so much fun and I feel like I got to know him so much better than if we were sitting across a table from each other measuring each of our questions and answers. At the end, we walked to a nearby bakery where he had pre-ordered a cake with my name on it… ador-a-ble!

What is your instant deal breaker?

A big one for me is treatment of others. If he’s rotten to people or animals, regardless of status or circumstance, I have zero interest in seeing that person again… and might even slip some laxatives into his coffee… heehee, kidding!

What is the best piece of romance advice you have ever received?

Make sure you LIKE your potential mate… not just lust after him or love him, but really like him.

What is the first thing you notice about a potential love interest?

I admit that I do notice height. I have a lot of things up high in my apartment and a tall fella is always useful. Though it’s not what I’m focused on in a mate.

If there was one piece of advice you could give to other men/women out there, what would it be?

I think I would pass on the excellent advice I was given: make sure you LIKE your guy or gal. ‘Like’ says to me that not only do you truly just enjoy spending time with him/her, but there’s a mutual respect that will give the relationship a wonderful foundation.
