Our #womancrushwednesday this week is the captivating Stephanie Bennett!
Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Stephanie was a student of dance before turning to acting. She studied ballet from a very young again, first the National BalletShe then at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School in her teens. After her second year of University however, she packed way her ballet slippers to pursue another passion full time – acting. Considering her ever growing resume, she definitely made the right choice. Among her many acting credits, she has appeared in the series iZombie, UnREAL and Supernatural. Currently Stephanie is showing off her acting shops in the CBC drama The Romeo Section as Dee. Next up, she will appear in the ABC Family series Shadowhunters, based on the popular book series The Mortal Instruments by Cassanda Clare, set to air in early 2016.

What is your definition of romance?
Creating an experience with someone while expressing your passion, love and appreciation for them.
What is the best piece of romance advice you have ever received?
Stay curious. There is always something new to learn about one another.
What’s the strangest thing you have ever done to get a love interest’s attention?
I’m not the greatest cook and I tried to impress a guy once by attempting to make an elaborate dinner. It was horrible.
What’s the strangest thing someone has done to get your attention?
My current boyfriend is an actor as well and is known for a series of commercials he does. Before we started dating I told him my mom was a fan of his commercials. The next day he made a specific video for her and asked me for my number so I could send it to her. I didn’t clue in that he did this because he was interested in me.
How do you keep the romance alive in your relationship?
We like to try new things together. Whether it’s watching movies or TV shows, making a recipes, taking a classes, or going new places. I think there’s something special and memorable about both people trying something for the first time and sharing that experience.
