Ask your #WCW with Simone Denny

This week our #WCW is the beautiful and talented Simone Denny.

Simone Denny’s musical career truly began with the attention she garnered as the lead vocalist for Love, Inc, a collaboration between herself and producers Chris Sheppard and Brad Daymond. The group became a  Platinum-selling success, with singles “Broken Bones” and “Here Comes the Sunshine” gaining fan and critical acclaim and both earning JUNO Awards. After the members of Love Inc. went their separate ways, Denny partnered with Canadian duo Widelife, a collaboration that resulted in the hits “I Don’t Want You” and “All Things (Just Keep Getting Better)”, the theme song for Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. The Five-time JUNO Award-winning artist recently released her long-awaited debut solo album The Stereo Dynamite sessions Vol. 1, an album that blends elements of R&B, Rock and Roll and 60’s Soul to produce 10 emotional and captivating tracks, including the lead track “Your Love Fades”. Says Simone, “I am so excited with the way this album showcases my voice. Soul is the main genre I grew up on – it’s how I learned to sing. A soul recording was always part of my plan and I’m glad I got the chance to explore music on my own terms. It has been an amazing journey exploring love and even some deeper social issues.” Speaking of love, let’s take a look at what Simoe had to say about dating and romance below!

What is the first thing that you notice about a potential love interest?

The first thing I notice is the over all vibe/energy/disposition a person gives off when they enter a room. Their smile, their intelligence. Appearance and sense of style, a great body and good looks definitely don’t hurt.

What is your ideal first date?

My requirement for a first date is having fun! Getting to know the person. What makes them tick. Whether it’s dinner, a ball game, movie, or a concert. It’s all about communication for me.

What’s your instant deal breaker?

Cheating… infidelity is inexcusable for me in a relationship.

What is your definition of romance?

My definition of romance is connection. Being able to love to the fullest on every level. Physically, mentally and emotionally. Once you are connected on that level, you know and understand your partner’s needs and desires. You know how and what pleases and excites them.

Describe your love life in one word

Passionate.
