This week we are crushing on Sara Diamond!

Sara Diamond is 22-year-old artist from Montreal, Quebec. Sara discovered her love of music at a very young age. It’s said that she has been singing since before she could talk, and dancing since before she could walk. Now, Sara is an accomplished singer, songwriter and dancer who weaves all of these skills into her style and artistry.

Sara’s smooth, silky voice pairs perfectly with her pop and R&B style. She recently released “Back to you”, a song about rekindling a flickering romance. The song is the first of a series of singles, all dealing with the subject of love. Take a listen to “Back to you” here:

See why we’re so smitten with Sara below!

What is the first thing that you notice about a potential love interest?

Their smile and sense of humour! I’m a sucker for someone who can make me laugh.

What is your definition of romance?

To me, romance is taking the time to make your significant other feel loved and special. If you buy a dozen roses and give them to your girlfriend but spend the rest of the night on your phone, that’s not exactly romantic. I’d much rather spend a night cooking, playing cards, drinking wine, talking about life and building romance through the moment. It’s all about being present with the person your with. That the most romantic thing, in my opinion.

What’s your instant deal breaker?

A super realist – sorry! Imagination and curiosity are super important to me.

What is the best piece of romance advice you have ever received?

Trust is everything.

What’s the strangest thing you have ever done to get a love interest’s attention?

My ex worked across the street from a Starbucks…so when he was still just a crush, I would go to that specific Starbucks to do homework…even though it was 30 mins from my house!  Super creepy and he only came in once…and when we were dating totally called me out on it!
