Ask your #WCW with Monique Boblin

This week’s #WCW happens to be a beautiful, brilliant and stunning woman who I just happen to count among my lovely circle of friends. Addicted readers, meet the lovely and talented Monique Boblin, international model extraordinaire!

Born in Edmonton, Alberta and educated in Toronto, Ontario, Monique got her start in modeling at an early age. After a few years working in the real world, Monique made the conscious decision to abandon reality and focus her career efforts on the entertainment industry. The stunning blonde is now an established model, dividing her time between Toronto and Las Vegas with pits stops in Los Angeles. A dedicated music lover, Monique has supported the Toronto indie music scene with her work with Todd Kern and TKO (featured as our #MCM) and tells us her spirit animal is a crotchety house cat. Beautiful, hilarious and smart as hell? Can you blame us for making Monique Boblin our #womancrushwednesday? No, you cannot.

What is the first thing that you notice about a potential love interest?

Confidence; it isn’t always about how you look, or what you do, but it is about being true to yourself.

What’s your instant deal breaker?

Manners; Chew with your mouth shut, take your hat off at the table, and say “please and thank you”. None of this should be particularly difficult and can go a long way.

What is the best piece of romance advice you have ever received?

Think about what they would like, not what you would like. Some people find chocolate and roses romantic, other people find a day on the sofa romantic.

If there was one piece of advice you could give to other men/women out there, what would it be?

Don’t worry so much. Over thinking is the death of all romance. If you want to text the person, do it. If they are into you it isn’t weird or clingy, it is just a text message. If they are not, well, the text message won’t be the deal breaker.

Describe your love life in one word?

Playful.
