What is the first thing that you notice about a potential love interest?
His smile:) People who smile a lot have a better energy and outlook on life! That’s the kind of person I would want to be with.
What’s the best date you’ve ever been on?
Before moving to Los Angeles, I was living in Ontario, Canada about an hour outside of Toronto. I had met this guy on one of my songwriting trips while I was visiting Los Angeles. He had asked me out but I was so busy I didn’t have time to meet with him. After I got back to Canada, he messaged me on Facebook and asked if he could take me out on a date….. in TORONTO! He flew in, rented a car, picked me up, and took me out on an amazing date in the city. It was definitely the farthest a guy travelled to pick me up for on a first date:) It made me feel pretty special!
What’s your instant deal breaker?
Someone who is lazy. I like a guy who is hardworking, and active!
What is the best piece of romance advice you have ever received?
Let the guy work for it!
If there was one piece of advice you could give to other men/women out there, what would it be?
I know we’ve heard this saying since we were kids, but it’s a good reminder: ‘treat others the way you want to be treated’. I love when a guy treats me like a princess and makes a real effort to want to date me. I think it’s good to keep standards high! I also think that it’s important that both people in a relationship treat each other well, and put in effort to make each other feel special. Making someone else happy is the best feeling!
