Ask your #WCW with Letters from Pluto

This week we’re crushing on Letters from Pluto.

Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, Letters From Pluto is nostalgic for the days when Pluto was still considered a planet. This young artist figured out how to combine her fascination with outerspace with her love of music, and somehow it just works.  A little bit of pop, some alternative, and a spacey shimmer that makes it all her own, Letter’s to Pluto came on the music scene in 2016 with the release of her self-titled debut EP.  She won the iHeartRadio Future Star Award and her single, Cold Right Now (Redekopp Remix) reached #35 on HOT AC radio and #30 on AC radio. Letters to Pluto is back with a new single.  Check out the video for “Stop and stare” here:

Letters to Pluto plans to release new tunes throughout the year, so for now check out what makes her heart beat a little bit faster below!

What is the first thing that you notice about a potential love interest?

Their eyes, their smile. I love seeing the sparkle in someone’s eye when they talk about something they’re passionate about! It can make the person 10x more attractive!

What is your definition of romance?

Someone that makes time for you. We’re all busy, and yes, some more than others. But it’s about someone being busy, but still creating time for the ones they love and care about. In my opinion, that’s one of the most romantic things someone can do for you, giving you their full and undivided attention. Also, I find that romance is in the little things. Someone hugging you just because they want to, catching them staring at you because they think you look awesome, little surprises here and there. Don’t get me wrong, grand gestures are great and can be pretty important and a good cause for memories, but all the little things add up throughout our lives and they truly matter.

What’s the best date you’ve ever been on?

One of my best dates was a 2-part date and space themed….gotta stay on brand, eh? Haha. It started by going out to see a revival of 2001: A Space Odyssey, which I had never seen before! Really awesome movie. Quite odd in some parts, but I really enjoyed it. Sticking with the space theme, that particular night was the Geminid meteor shower, so we drove a little ways out of the city and went stargazing. It was pretty darn romantic, until a  moment while we were stargazing and we heard a deep growl coming from the bushes nearby. It was the dead of winter and coyotes were everywhere…so it’s safe to say we ran to the car pretty quickly. haha. It made for an incredibly memorable evening. We ended up sitting in the car, put on the spaciest music we could think of, and watched the stars through the sunroof till 3am.

What’s your instant deal breaker?

Ego. Someone that’s condescending. The moment I sense it, I’m gone! I much prefer when someone is humble, even if they’ve had tremendous success.

If there was one piece of advice you could give to people out there, what would it be?

Know your worth! Know that you deserve to be respected and cherished and adored. And if you don’t feel that with someone, walk away! Because once you do feel it, you’ll know it’s what you’re suppose to feel every day. Even if things get difficult, even when there are fights, you should still feel respected and loved.
