It’s Wednesday and you know what that means! That’s right, it’s #womancrush day! We’re thrilled to feature the smart and savvy Kari Lywood, event planner extraordinaire on our site today.
Kari is the founder and creative director of Kari Lywood Events and the founder and Sr. client lead at KL group. She has been working in corporate event planning, experiential marketing, promotional events, brand awareness, as well as premium event and wedding planning and coordination for 8 years now, and has worked with clients like Kellogg’s Canada, Samsung Mobile, Coca-Cola, Coca Cola Olympic Team, Atlanta Dream WNBA, Miami Marlins, San Diego Padres and Villa by Barton G in South Beach. She’s well known for her outstanding ability to take an idea and transform it into a flawlessly executed event – an amazing talent indeed!
Perhaps one of the most admirable things about Kari is not only her great professional strengths, but also her ability to achieve that work life balance that the rest of us strive for. Take a read below to hear her take on how to make love a priority even when your life is as busy as hers.
What is the first thing that you notice about a potential love interest?
EYES! You can tell some much about someone through their eyes!
What is the best piece of romance advice you have ever received?
Never settle for anyone that does not deserve you.
If there was one piece of advice you could give to other men/women out there, what would it be?
Communicate! No, that does not mean via email, text, snap chat and or any other form of social media! Seat down and talk face-to-face. Communication is the key to any successful relationship.
How do you keep the romance alive in your relationship?
Date night! With our busy lives and travel schedules, we make sure we continue our date nights and be present with each other.
