This week we are crushing on Hello Cookie, World Renowned Female Sneakerhead and member of The Sole Exchange Canada.
Earlier this week we met Dalton Jackson, the founder of Sole Exchange Canada. We wanted to feature the feminine side of sneaker culture in the same week, and no one is more synonymous with sneaker love than Hello Cookie. Strong, sassy, smart and oh so stylish, you can catch miss Cookie at the Ultimate Sneaker show showing off her own kicks and adding to her ever growing collection. When she’s not running her kingdom, the Queen of sneaks does date on occasion. See what makes our #womancrush tick below!
What is the first thing that you notice about a potential love interest?
Confidence and Manners. My level of interest in someone is rarely peaked by aesthetics. The foremost thing I notice is the person’s overall presence. The ability to possess confidence without arrogance, the way they treat the people around them, the way they speak and their ability to communicate with others, and also their sense of humor. I like when a person is comfortable enough know exactly what they want, and confident enough to say exactly what they want, and if they can make me laugh in the process that is certainly a bonus! I’m a tough cookie lol I’m opinionated, I have a strong personality and I don’t break easily. I will be far more intrigued if you are able to stand up to me instead of just being overly agreeable. All within reason of course.
What is your definition of romance?
Romance may not necessarily come in the form of your typical flowers, gifts, candlelight dinner, rose petals or what have you. My definition of romance is a selfless gesture specifically for your partner. The type of gesture that lets me know that you were thinking of me, and put thought into to doing something genuinely and specifically for me. However that gesture manifests would be the “romance” so to speak. My definition of romance is knowing and anticipating your partner’s needs without ever having being asked. To know someone that well, and so deeply, that in any given situation you know exactly what to do with me, and can essentially be my remedy, that to me is romance.
What’s the best date you’ve ever been on?
I honestly can not think of a specific date, but any date that makes you lose track of time is a good one.
What’s your instant deal breaker?
Weakness, poor etiquette, greed, selfishness, thoughtlessness, obnoxiousness, prattling, and self-aggrandizing individuals. To me, there is nothing worse than these qualities in a person.
What’s the strangest thing you have ever done to get a love interest’s attention?
Nothing, if I want something I just take it.
