Meet our #WCW for this week, beauty expert Grace Tartaglia!
Grace Tartaglia is an award winning hairstylist and one of Canada’s foremost beauty experts. She has crafted a career in image makeovers by helping women feel great through showcasing and enhancing their natural beauty. Grace regularly appears on City TV’s Cityline daytime program wher she puts her makeover skills to use on audience members while also teaching ladies at home hair tips and tricks.
When she’s not gracing our television screens, Grace juggles working on stages at hair shows, attending gala events, working behind the scenes at fashion shows and judging hair styling competitions. And if that’s not enough, Grace also runs the “Image Makeover Salon”, a highly sought after Toronto beauty institution where non televised makeovers occur every day.
Along with her work in the beauty and TV industries, Grace is also active in the charitable community. She was the spokes person for the Princess Margaret hospital Nohairselfie campaign, helping to raise the largest amount ever for one haircut totalling $740,000.
A lady who can make you look and feel fabulous, while kicking ass at her own career and helping raise awareness for cancer? If that’s not crushworthy, we don’t know what is. So come on and meet your #WCW below!
What is the first thing you notice about a potential love interest?
I notice their energy, and their eyes. My thought would be: we looked at each other a little bit too long to be friends.
What’s your definition of romance?
To me, romance means being with a person who enjoys your madness ,and not an idiot who forces you to be normal.
What’s your ideal first date?
My ideal first date would be going somewhere to sit and get to know that person one on one and have a really good conversation with them. Intelligence is the most important thing to me.
What’s the best piece of romantic advice you’ve ever received?
Don’t let the heart that didn’t love you keep you from the one that will.
What’s the strangest thing someone’s done to get your attention?
A guy once bought me a piece of the moon. It was contained in a necklace that said property of the universe. He didn’t become a love interest, but we are still amazing friends, because who buys your piece of the moon?
