Ask your #WCW with Goldilox

This week we’re crushing on Goldilox!

Born in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Goldilox is a singer, songwriter, artist and fashion guru.  She moved from the East Coast to the west in pursuit of her artistic endeavors, with music being at the forefront.   She moved to Vancouver, then Los Angeles, and now lives in Paris while she pursues music, art, fashion and more.

Goldilox just released a brand new album and we are loving it.  Very Best is just  that; the best of the music Goldilox has to offer.  Check out the video for her latest single “I love you.”   Inspired by the likes of Marvin Gaye and Pharrell, “I love you” showcases Goldilox’s softer side while staying true to her engagingly experimental sound.  We’ve got the video for this sexy summer track right here.  Watch it, then learn more about the softer, more romantic side of Goldilox!

What is the first thing that you notice about a potential love interest?

Style and the way they carry themselves. I love individuals that are confident and charismatic. That’s super attractive.

What’s your instant deal breaker?

Bad manners. Once I had someone make 3 phone calls in the middle of dinner / loud business talking. I get it, you’re “important”

What’s the strangest thing you have ever done to get a love interest’s attention?

Oh gosh.. umm write love songs and hope they know it’s for them.

What’s the strangest thing someone has done to get your attention?

I had someone comment 1 Purple Heart emoji under most of my photos until I finally followed back… and then we dated for 6 months. Haha

If there was one piece of advice you could give to other men/women out there, what would it be?

Be Yourself and find what you love and tap into that. Also, don’t compare yourself to others. It’s easier to wake up everyday and be the best version of you, rather than the version of what you think someone else is.
