And now learn about her view on romance below!

What is the first thing that you notice about a potential love interest?

I notice how they interact with other people, I notice general manners and body language, etc.

What is your ideal first date/ what’s the best date you’ve ever been on?

Sometimes sitting and talking to a stranger can be awkward at first…so I feel that it’s important to do something fun/interesting together, like go to a market, a museum, etc. You can learn a lot about someone just by going out and doing something fun together. It relieves the pressure of feeling like you’re being interviewed, and you can talk/get to know each other in a way that’s realistic to day to day life.

What’s your instant deal breaker?

This is going to sound pretentious, but bad spelling/grammar!

What is the best piece of romance advice you have ever received?

“you can’t have the ups without the downs”

If there was one piece of advice you could give to other men/women out there, what would it be?

Do not wait around by the phone. Keep setting aside time for your projects, your life, and keep focused on your goals and aspirations.

Catch Claire live in Toronto on the dates below:
April 30th –  Humble Beginnings Restaurant, 3109 Dundas St. West
May 14th – Burdock Music Hall, 1184 Bloor St. West
