This week we are crushing on the other half of the awesome Command Sisters, Charlotte!
We hung out with Charlotte’s sister last week on WCW. This week our country crooners turned pop starlets get another dose of your attention, and Charlotte is the star.
The Command Sisters have been performing all around the world, and now have a fresh new pop sound to entrance us all over again. Take a listen to their upcoming single “Low Profile” here:
What is the best date you’ve ever been on?
The best date I’ve ever been on was this: we went to this really cute trendy little cafe for lunch downtown Toronto, went for a walk, stopped at a guitar store (he was a musician) and started jamming and playing music together. It was perfect.
What’s your instant deal breaker?
To me, if there’s one thing that I definitely just can’t deal with, it’s a lack of commitment – when someone just doesn’t prioritize you. If I am going out of my way for a person I want them to really make me feel important and wanted. It’s not a hard thing to do if you really like someone! I went on a date with a guy who had flirted with me for six months, and once we finally hung out together, he didn’t ask me ONE THING about myself. He went on about himself for an entire half an hour before telling me he “had another party to go to”, called a cab, then left. Definitely a deal breaker, haha.
What is the best piece of romance advice you have ever received?
The best piece of romance advice I’ve ever been told was from my sister. She’s gone through a hoard of bad relationships and from what she’s learned, she told me that I need to “treat myself like a prize”, meaning; don’t undervalue yourself and know your worth before giving your heart to someone. So many people stay in bad relationships because they don’t know they deserve better. I think once you respect and truly value yourself, you’ll know when it’s safe to walk away from something if it doesn’t feel right.
What’s the strangest thing you have ever done to get a love interest’s attention?
I took a recording course for six months; sat through hours of lessons even though I wasn’t learning anything… just because I fell in love with the guy who was teaching me.
Describe your love life in one word
One word to describe my love life? Non-existent, (ha!) I feel like I am at a time in my life where I want to be focused on my career and my music, and being single feels really great right now. Who knows what might happen down the road though.
