Ask your #MCM with Nickolas Benson from Last Minute Villains

This week we are crushing on Nick Benson from Last Minute Villains.

LMV are the cosmic country rock supergroup that the world has been waiting for. Comprised of Lead Singer /Guitarist Nickolas Benson (These Lovers, Elevator Etiquette, Stoned), Singer/Guitarist Joey Sykes (The Babys, Will Champlin), Bassist/Sound Engineer Jim Watts (Moxy Music), Singer Pam Aronoff (Moxy Music), Drummer Michael Jerome (Better Than Ezra, Richard Thompson) & Drummer/Pedal Steel Guitarist Jason Gilbert (Gram Rabbit).  Listen to their album Rodeo and the Radio below:

We chatted with lead singer Nick about his romantic views and got some pretty awesome advice. Take a read below!

What is the first thing that you notice about a potential love interest?

The wiggle in her walk and the giggle in her talk. If she doesn’t smile then it’s over before it starts. You make yourself much more attractive by being happy and just smiling.

What is your definition of romance?

Being able to just hang out, do nothing and understand each other through eye contact.

What is the best date you’ve ever been on?

Best date I ever had was when I didn’t know it was a date. We met at a new years party, danced all night and made out like teenagers.

What’s your instant deal breaker?

It’s all about attitude and usually a first impression of someone will be the way you view them so if they don’t treat you with respect it’s hard to lose how they made you feel.

What’s the strangest thing you have ever done to get a love interest’s attention?

Danced like a maniac Mick Jagger and it worked.

If there was one piece of advice you could give to other men/women out there, what would it be?

Put yourself out there, don’t be shy and tell someone how you feel about them.
