This week we are crushing on Leon Harrison, the long haired looker who just happens to front the awesome Australian rock band The Lazys!
Hailing from New South Wales, Australia, the Lazys are already loved all over Canada. I first caught the Lazys when they passed through Toronto back in 2014. In a word, they were fantastic. High energy performances, fun loving attitudes and balls to the wall rock and roll tunes; the Lazys are a gift to modern music, and I’m not the only one who thinks so. These guys have already caught the eye of Canadian rock royalty, working with the likes of Billy Talent’s Ian D’sa and The Trews John-Angus MacDonald and touring with One Bad Son and Big Wreck. Sounding like a pack of gloriously maned AC/DC juniors, these guys have earned more rock music cred than most bands earn in 10 times their tenure. Take a listen to their single “Howling Woman” here, and you’ll see what I mean:
With a sound like that, and looks like those, it’s no wonder we are all crushing on the Lazys! We cornered lead singer Leon about his dating habits just for you guys. Take a read below!
What is your ideal first date?
Ideal first date is just chillin at the bar listening to tunes, drinking good beer and having great conversation. What happens later….I don’t kiss and tell!
What’s your instant deal breaker?
What’s the strangest thing you have ever done to get a love interest’s attention?
Once in primary school I deliberately stacked (crashed) my bike in front a girl I liked. She picked me up and dusted me off!
What’s the strangest thing someone has done to get your attention?
One girl charged her drinks to my tab!
Describe your love life in one word
Hear that ladies? This handsome gent’s up for grabs! See if you can make him swoon at one of the Lazy’s next gigs on their tour!
