Ask your #MCM with ChrisDoi from the New Electric

Happy #mancrushmonday! This week, we have deemed Chris Doi from The New Electric to be most crushable!

What’s more crushworthy than a cute boy who can play guitar? And that’s exactly what Chris does in the New Electric. This native Calgarian and his bandmates have already been deemed as a next big thing by the music industry. Corus called them just that, giving them the title of “Next Big Thing ” and Bell Media called them “Future Star(s)”, both in 2015. And this week Chris and and his bandmates will be hitting the road, joining past #MCM Nick Carter on tour through Canada starting November 9th. That’s a lot of crushability on one bill.

Let’s chat with Chris, shall we?

What is your definition of romance?

I think romance is an emotional attraction that can pull you away from every day life. It makes you want to be the best you can be for the person you are with.

What is your ideal first date/what’s the best date you’ve ever been on?

I like anything involving being outside. The best date I’ve ever been on wasn’t even supposed to be a date. I’m a photographer and the girl that I really liked asked me to take photos of her so I took her out to a really nice spot and we ended up spending most of the day together hiking.

What’s your instant deal breaker?

What is the best piece of romance advice you have ever received?

The best advice I’ve ever been given is to always be present when you are with the person you love or anybody for that matter. When you constantly think about the past or worry about the future, it’s impossible to give the other person the 100% of you that they deserve.

What’s the strangest thing you have ever done to get a love interest’s attention?

One time I got a girl’s name tattooed on the bottom of my foot. Thankfully it wore off quickly!
