Addicted wants to send you to see Band of Skulls

When I like, no LOVE a band, I like to share that love with the world. One of my favorite new discoveries is Band of Skulls, and I’m thrilled to be giving away two tickets to their upcoming show in Toronto!  They’ll be here Wednesday, April 24th and Addicted wants YOU to be there!

I have loved Band of Skulls from the first time I heard their first album Baby Darling Dollface Honey.  The irresistible, addictive beats, the easy to sing along with vocals, and the grimey yet gorgeous guitar riffs won me over from the opening riff of “Light of the Morning”.  I even taught myself to play the rockin earworm “I Know what I am” on bass. With every new album, Band of Skulls only get better and better, tightening and polishing their increasingly complex sound.  Southhampton natives Russell Marsden (guitar, vocals), Emma Richardson (bass, vocals) and Matt Hayward (drums) have added two more albums to their discography, the dark and stormy Sweet Sour, and the latest, sweeter and epically titiled Himilayan.  While all of their recorded albums are the epitome of ear candy, Band of Skulls are positively awesome live, especially in a smaller venue.  And considering the band has been touring with the likes of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the Dead Weather, and Soundgarden (to an audience of thousands both at SXSW and around the world via iTunes), the chance to see Band of Skulls in a venue the size of the Phoenix is going to become a rarer and rarer thing.  Aren’t you glad I have pair of tickets for one of you out there!

To win tickets to Band of Skulls at the Phoenix, simply tweet “I want to see @bandofskulls at the Phoenix with @weraddicted! #addictedtobandofskulls”.  Entrant must be 19 years of age or older, a resident of Canada, and must be able to attend the show in Toronto to win.  Tweet must contain the hashtag “#addictedtobandofskulls” to qualify.  Winner will be drawn on Wednesday, April 23rd. Good Luck!
