Addicted Inspirations

A new year is always seen as a time for beginnings. It’s a time to make resolutions to improve yourself and your life. It’s a time to recommit to challenges you may have faced, but not overcome in the past. It’s also the perfect time to start something new. So in the spirit of the new year, I’m excited to announce the launch of a new article series here on Addicted: Addicted Inspirations.

Inspiration can take many forms. From a world renowned philanthropist, donating millions to help those less fortunate, to the teacher you had in elementary school that made you love to learn, there’s no form of inspiration too big or too small to be celebrated, and most of all, to be recognized. And that’s exactly what our intention is with this series.

I’ve been so lucky in my journey with Addicted, and my other writing endeavors before that, to have met so many people who have inspired me to do things that I never thought I could. They’ve given me the strength and courage to continue along this crazy path that I’m on, taking on new challenges and bigger risks to achieve my current dreams and discover new ones along the way. And for that, I want to thank not only them, but all the inspirational people out there who should be applauded for all that they do.

Addicted Inspirations will feature people from various professions, multiple industries, with different accomplishments, who all have one thing in common: their actions have motivated others to want or do better, for themselves and the world around them.  Our aim is to highlight their achievements, and to thank them for all the amazing work that they do. Every Friday a new inspirational person will be interviewed, giving them a chance to tell their story to help inspire people everywhere. We will also feature a charity or cause of their choice that you the reader, can choose to educate yourself about, or if you’re feeling generous, even make a donation to.

I know that each and every one of you out there has someone who inspires you. So my ask to all of you is to take a moment and tweet at @weraddicted and nominate an inspirational personal that you think deserves to be featured in Addicted Inspirations. It’s a new year, let’s start it off with positivity, support, and by inspiring ourselves and those around us to kick this year’s ass, in the best way possible.
