Dundas West Fest, the eclectic street party that took over the west end of Toronto on June 7th, 2019 teamed up with Transmit Festival to present a weekend of free music for festival attendees to enjoy. Toronto’s Peeling got the show started with distorted instruments and raspy vocals as the crowd filled the tiny parking lot space to watch them. Punk rockers Teenanger followed after them with a set full of bright riffs accompanied by dance-worthy, simple melodies. Montreal’s SUUNS headlined the outdoor stage just outside The Garrison and left the audience in a trance with their psychedelic prog-rock sounds.
