As we move closer toward winter, we’re all reminded of the havoc indoor heat, cold winds and harsh weather can wreak on our skin, our hair, and our moods. Today contribuitor Marie provides a tip to at least help with the second of those three conundrums!
“While life may not be a Game of Thrones episode, we all know that winter is coming. Cold temperatures bring dryness and static thanks to the thermostat being turned up.
What’s the easiest way to combat it? After you slather on your body moisturizer, the remaining residue of moisturizer on your hands is the perfect amount to kill static and calm fly-aways. Just lightly smooth your hands over your hair and you’re laughing.
Once you’ve tamed your tresses, you can cheat your way to a blow dry look. It’s good for work-at-home scuzzos like me, because hair is a dead giveaway that I… work from home. :PShoot some dry shampoo at the the roots, smooth on some body building hair serum on the ends (I’m actually in a love coma over the 7-day Keratine Smooth Serum from Tresemme). You can then do a once over with a rounded brush and a hairdryer. It’ll give you some lift and volume and tame fly aways and it gives a little oomph in no time flat. 🙂 ”
