Many people will tell you that your twenties are your defining years. They are the years you finally realize who you are and what you want out of life. You usually become more sure of yourself, more confident, and take the steps that will help you to shape a fantastic future. However, that doesn’t mean your twenties should be all work and no play. People who take this approach are seriously missing out!
Here are 10 things you must do with your friends in your twenties to give you some ideas:
-
Go Camping
Camping together underneath the stars is a brilliant bonding activity – you can cook some food, tell scary stories, drink some beer – whatever you like. You could play music, play games, it doesn’t matter. Whatever you decide to do you’ll have memories to last a lifetime. That being said, it never hurts to be prepared, so familiarize yourself with the camping equipment.

Go To A Music Festival

Music can really bring people together, and you really haven’t lived until you’ve seen some of your favourite bands live. Pick a music festival and go along with some of your best friends. In some cases, you’ll be able to camp, combining the above point with awesome live music.
-
Go Somewhere Foreign And Soak Up A New Culture
Go somewhere that’s been on your bucket list for a while and really take in all there is about this new culture. You’ll come back looking at the world a different way!
-
Try Out An Escape Room
Trying out an Escape Room is a great activity for thrill seekers. You all have to work together to see if you can escape the room, and different rooms have different themes. Team work will get you out, so it’s a great way to feel closer together and like you’ve accomplished something.
-
Go on A Road Trip
Pack a little bag and some snacks, then hop in the car and go on a road trip together. You could have a place in mind, or nowhere at all. You could easily just enjoy your time seeing where the road takes you. Just make sure you have fully charged phones, a great playlist, a map, and some emergency supplies just incase. Check your car over properly before you hit the road too!
-
Climb A Mountain
You don’t have to climb Everest to climb a mountain. There are some great mountains out there for beginners, and you could even raise some money for a charity that’s close to your heart.
-
Go To A Class Together And Learn Something New
You could head to a hip-hop dance class or a life drawing class – why not learn something new and have fun?
-
Throw A Friendsgiving Party
Celebrate your friendship with one another by throwing a Friendsgiving party where you all bring some food and reminisce about your time together! (we do this and it’s awesome)
-
Do Something Scary
You could go on a zip wire or bungee jump, or do something else that really scares you. Breaking out of your comfort zone together will make you feel amazing!
