7 ways to pull yourself out of a funk

 Emotions are like the weather. The sunshine can quickly turn to a storm and sometimes even a tornado. The trick is to control and reset back to happiness. Here are some hacks to ease your inner suffering.

  1. Laugh

Connect with the person who makes you laugh the hardest. Skype them and see their face or get off your cell phone and see them in person. Laughter releases endorphins, which is a morphine like hormone that is naturally created in the body.

What’s better than free morphine? Anyone…Don’t freak out if you don’t have a lover. Make love to yourself.  Still confused? How do you want to be loved, touched, talked to? If this is a hard concept for you digest, don’t stress just try it once. Do you want pink champagne and a bubble bath? Do for yourself what your dream lover will do for you as if they were in your head without holding back. Become the master of loving your self fully not the master of fast endings. A happy ending is a hormone heaven cocktail of oxytocin, endorphins and adrenaline.


  1. Give something away

Give away what you are stressed out about and desire. You need to be honest with yourself first. Do you desire money, love? Whatever you think you are lacking give that away. It always comes back it’s just the flow of energy. Donate money to your favorite organization. Love yourself and others without apology or filter. Only see everyone’s amazing qualities and nothing else. Can you feel the love?


  1. Find your happy place

Go down memory lane. Think of one of the happiest moments in your life. Close your eyes, visualize that moment as if you were re living it. Feel what you felt, hear what you heard and let a smile touch your lips.


  1. Relieve pressure

Do the scariest thing on your To Do list. Do the one thing that you keep putting off and every time you think of it your body cringes. The pain will turn into pleasure once it’s completed and you will be proud of yourself for doing the harder things in life.


  1. Shake that ass

Let movement be your prayer and release. Move your body the way your body craves to. Got to hot yoga, go running, crank some music and dance around your house until you sweat so good.


  1. Breathe

How do we all forget to breathe deeper? The simplest things are the hardest. In slowly and out slower. Inhale abundance and exhale gratitude. If oxygen was money how much could you inhale in one breath? Remember to get through the day all you need to do is breathe.
