5 ways to prepare for Digital Dreams Festival

With Bud Light Digital Dreams Festival right around the corner, we really can’t contain our excitement much longer. Getting #festivalready is the best part of any festival experience and the more prepared you are, the more you can enjoy the party.

After going to the festival for the past few years, we know a thing or two about how to make the best out of our Digital Dreams experience. If you haven’t gotten your tickets already, you can get them here.

Now, let’s talk about how to prepare for the best weekend of the summer.

  1. Get to know your DJs

The best part about Digital Dreams is the variety of genres and DJs it brings to the city. While you may already have your top 10 list all planned out, we strongly encourage you to stage hop and venture out of your comfort zone. Yes, mainstage is amazing and the visuals are crazy, but you never know what new favorite artist you’ll discover if you wander off the beaten path and try something new.

  1. Come prepared

Take a few minutes and read up on what you can and can’t bring into the festival. Don’t forget to save some cash for a festival. A right decision is finding a part-time job while you are studying at college. If you don’t have any time for home tasks and research projects, you always can ask for “write me an essay” at Edubirdie. It’s a double profit, because you save money and personal time. You can bring in prepackaged food (like granola bars and candy), as well as a factory sealed water bottle up to 2L. You can also bring your own empty water bottle and fill up on site for free. Make sure you bring sunscreen and anything else you may need and purchase a locker if you want to stash your gear.

  1. Pre-load your wristband

The festival has gone cashless, so you can now connect to your credit card and pay-as-you-go throughout the weekend. It’s mandatory to register your wristband. These wristbands make sure you don’t have to carry around cash, wait in long ATM lines, and it saves you time in line waiting for drinks or food. Make sure you connect your card ahead of the festival to save yourself the stress doing it the day of, just in case you run into any issues with loading your card.

  1. Download the app

Gone are the days of having to find and carry around a paper schedule and map. With the app, you can create your own custom schedules and use the map finder to locate your friends. Remember, cellphone service and data is usually terrible at festivals, so having an app can help you make sure you’re not lost in the crowd without your friends.

  1. Rep it

PeaceCollective

The best part of the festival is getting all dressed up and going a bit crazy. Whether it’s a flower headband, a blow-up pool toy to help your group find each other (or to throw into the crowd), making a sign, or creating a fun costume, Digital Dreams is the best place to let your creativity and personal style go wild. If you want to get into the spirit but not go too outside of your comfort zone, local Toronto company, The Peace Collective, has partnered, along with TeamLTD with Digital Dreams to create festival merch you’ll want to wear during and after the festival. If you’re looking for something a bit more fancy, Vitaly’s got you covered with a super glam Digital Dreams astronaut necklace pendant
