Fly to Metropolis

What if you could fly like Superman? Better yet, what if you could be Superman or Batman?

Ever since I was a little boy, I loved Superman. I wanted to fly, have super strength, and ironically always wanted to be a reporter or a writer, so I guess one out of three isn’t bad.

Since I won’t be donning a red cape and spandex suit anytime soon, you can all join me in obsessing over the new movie coming to theatres next week, Batman v Superman.

Fearing that the actions of Superman are left unchecked, Batman takes on the red caped crusader, while the world wrestles with what kind of a hero it truly needs. With Batman and Superman fighting each other, a new threat, known as Doomsday, is created by the evil Lex Luthor. It’s up to Superman and Batman to set aside their differences and join forces with Wonder Woman to stop Lex Luthor and Doomsday from destroying Metropolis.

Now we know that on March 25th people will be flying to grab their seats for the main event, but in the meantime, we thought we would take a moment to dream of soaring through the air with the greatest of ease, on the official partner of the movie, Turkish Airlines.

Turkish Airlines is the national flag carrier airline of Turkey. As of February 2015, it operates scheduled services to an astounding 280 destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, making it the fourth-largest carrier in the world by number of destinations. Now that’s a lot of dreaming that can be done with that many amazing locations.

So would you fly to Metropolis if you had the chance? Or would you choose another destination? Currently I’m seeing myself in NYC next week, which is exactly where I’ll be.

So until the day comes when I fly for myself (don’t worry I won’t hold my breath), we can all dream of an amazing flight on a great airline, with our pals at Turkish Airlines….hopefully not next to Lex Luthor.
