These days, Nichelle is the trainer for Women’s Health and Fitness Australia and has her own fitness column called “Ask the Trainer” in OptiMYz Magazine. She’s also the current owner of Optimum Training Centre, a 6,000 square foot personal training facility in Toronto, Canada that specializes in working with athletes and persons of all fitness levels.

If that’s not crushworthy, then we don’t know what is.

What is your ideal first date/what’s the best date you have ever been on?

The date where my husband (now of 13 years) asked me to marry him. He took me out to lunch at “celebrity popular” restaurant, The Ivy in Beverly Hills, CA and recorded the whole thing. We then got married 2 days later in Las Vegas!

What is your instant deal breaker?

There’s a thin line between being confident and being arrogant. There is nothing more annoying than someone who is too full of themselves.

What is the strangest thing someone has done to get your attention?

Someone once sent me a picture of their penis next to a shaving cream can (to show to scale) and said “this is how I feel when I look at your pictures” .. yup, deleted and blocked.

If there was one piece of advice you could give to other men/women out there, what would it be?

Never fake it. The truth will always come out in the end. Always be true, be you.

How do you keep the romance alive in your relationship?

We have 4 kids so things change continuously. We always have to find ways to keep things fresh, fun, and spontaneous by keeping an open mind, and not sweating the small stuff.
