Ask your #MCM with Peter Jackson

This week we are crushing on Peter Jackson!

Peter Jackson is a Canadian rapper and songwriter. He’s been called ‘the hardest working rapper in Canada’ and it’s no wonder why. His intense work ethic is legendary, both on the road and home in the studio. Peter has toured with the likes of French Montana, Juicy J, Waka Flocka, Jadakiss, Machine Gun Kelly, Wu-Tang Clan, Akon, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, D-Block and more. He’s opened for 50 Cent at the Calgary Stampede and opened for Akon on his Canadian Tour.

These days Peter is promoting his latest album Married to Success. The latest single “Vacation” produced by DJ Marley Waters and mixed by Grammy Award Winning Engineer and Producer, Jordan Young (DJ Swivel) was inspired by that “on vacation” feeling, living life to the fullest and following the flow of the music. The single features 90 Nickel latest R&B pop singer Chrissy Spratt, who is known for her smooth covers of popular rap songs & has over 3 million YouTube hits and a combined total of 50,000 followers on her social platforms.

A video for “Vacation” is in the works, but for now, let’s learn a little bit about the romantic side of Peter Jackson, shall we?

What is the first thing that you notice about a potential love interest?

Definitely her face.

What is your ideal first date/ what’s the best date you’ve ever been on?

The best date I have ever been on was in New York City with my wife, back when we were engaged. We had dinner on Mulberry Street at this little Italian restaurant on the corner. We ate outside having our favourite meal, having Moet on ice, in the middle of the summer at night.

What’s the strangest thing you have ever done to get a love interest’s attention?

When I was really young, like 15-years-old, I wrote a song for a girl and rapped it to her at lunch.

What’s the strangest thing someone has done to get your attention?

I would have to say, women removing their tops at a show.

How do you keep the romance alive in your relationship?

We really get a long, we enjoy each other’s company. We make plans and take trips together to our favourite places.
