Addicted to love? Love and Technology

In this day and age, it feels like almost everyone is searching for love online. But have you ever thought about how many people are ACTUALLY dating using technology?

We’ve wondered about it. So we did a bit of research.

Did you know:

Looks do matter…but not as much as we think

Less than half of us are focusing on looks when it comes to finding a partner online.

More than half of us look at what someone has to say on their profile bio.

Women are less about hookups and more about dating

60% of women on Tinder are looking for love, and not just a hookup.

We all lie sometimes

53% of people reported lying on their dating profiles. Whether it’s about our jobs to appear more successful, or using more flattering but less current photos, men and women are guilty of dating app dishonesty.

Check our infographic below for more information and learn a little bit about the brave new world of looking for love.
