Post Valentine’s Day blues can hit really hard for some lonely singles, especially if the hopes of having date flew out the window. Fortunately, I’ve got 5 great dating apps for you to get back on your feet, and a chance to meet someone special. The fastest way for you to connect to singles ready to mingle, is conveniently located on your smart phone.

The League.

I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda Bradford, founder of The League in Delray Beach Florida after she won “Best Dating App” of 2018. She created the League well, to meet men in her league of course! As a Stanford graduate and serial entrepreneur, she places high value on education, occupation and attraction.   You can apply to be a member of The League through Facebook or LinkedIn. LinkedIn registration is unique to The League and your 5 daily matches appear at 5:00pm daily at “Happy Hour.” The League also builds communities through group events based on shared interests. Very cool.

Match.com

Match.com is the OG of dating sites and one of the most widely recognized dating sites and dating apps. Who hasn’t heard of Match.com. I attended the Match summit last summer and was joined by 14 other top dating experts to get a sneak peek behind the Match curtain and meet the executive team. I love that Match has launched “Match Stories” allowing you to post videos and photos of you taken from the same day! No more catfishing opportunities here. Match.com also hosts offline events and date coaching webinars to help singles find love online!

Bumble

Bumble is the ultimate #bossbabe app. It’s the app where women make the first move. Swipe on men you’d like to be matched with, and she can make the first move. With all the craze about this app, they’ve launched Bumble Bizz and Bumble BFF. If you want to make friends or network, Bumble has you covered.

Hinge

I met the founder Justin Mcleod a few years ago in New York when he was considering launching a matchmaking service. Hinge is deemed by them to be” The Relationship App.” Matches are based on friend connections through Facebook. Hnge allows you to message mutual contacts to get some inside scoop if they want to know more. A lot of singles value their friends and family’s opinion about who they should be dating. https://youtu.be/WEZM69UnD8U

WooyooApp.

WooYouApp is expected to be coming to Toronto by the end of the month. Currently in Beta, the WooYouApp is the perfect dating tool to help you choose from carefully planned dates by a single person, or you can choose from a template of pre-planned dates. The date templates are created under three date categories, ACTIVE. CULTURAL or DINING. WooYouApp allows you to create dates you love with the person you’re attracted to. In the meantime, you can get amazing dating advice on WikiWoo, the WooYouApp dating blog. You can subscribe to be on the launch list, and a chance to win a sponsored date.

So if you feel like you’ve got a dating hangover, I’ve given you 5 great dating apps to choose from to get rid of your heartache. Pick from the five, or download them all. It’s also important to note when you do choose to digitally date that you take a recent, clear and flattering photo of yourself. One thing I’ve become “addicted” to is my new Huawei smart phone which I take all my clients photos with. It’s got studio like, professional photo features and various portrait modes. My make up artist describes her Huawei as “The Channel” of cell phone cameras because it’s co-engineered with Leica. You want to use a phone with great battery life and super fast for dating communication. This phone hits all my checkmarks as an essential dating tool. Lastly, the iPhone 7 and any models above, also have great built in, portrait quality features making your selfies look incredibly crisp. Stop waiting, and start dating!
